The surface quality of copper busbar can be divided into three main aspects: surface smoothness, surface flatness, and surface defects, which are closely related to copper properties, production processes, production management, and production environment.
1. Factors affecting the surface smoothness of copper busbar
Compared to other metals, copper has good corrosion resistance, but it still undergoes chemical changes in environments such as high temperature, humidity, and acid mist, leading to surface discoloration. During the production and storage and transportation of copper busbars, these adverse environmental conditions exist to varying degrees, which can have an impact on surface quality.
2. Temperature
In the atmospheric environment, copper undergoes slow oxidation at room temperature; When the temperature rises to 100 ℃, black Copper(II) oxide begins to form, and the oxidation rate is proportional to the logarithm of time; When the temperature rises to 185 degrees Celsius, the oxidation rate significantly increases. When the temperature rises above 400 degrees Celsius, the oxidation rate is faster and increases in a parabolic shape.
3. Humidity
In humid environments, the presence of water vapor can cause corrosion or oxidation on the surface of copper busbars. At a specific temperature, the growth rate of the oxide film increases with increasing humidity.
4. Lubricant factors in stretching process
The role of process lubricants is to reduce friction, ensure and change the surface quality of the processed material, prevent metal from sticking to the mold, and cool down. Lubricants, residual acids, and residual water remaining on the surface of copper busbars during the stretching process can also directly or indirectly affect the surface quality of copper busbars. A good lubricant with good lubricity and residual capacity on the surface of copper busbar is the root cause of discoloration or corrosion marks on the surface of copper busbar.

Connection Scheme of Busbars for Electric Vehicle Motors
Copper busbar, also known as copper busbar or copper busbar, is a long conductor made of copper material with a rectangular or chamfered (rounded) cross-section (now commonly used with rounded copper busbar to avoid tip discharge), which plays a role in conveying current and connecting electrical equipment in circuits.
What is the function of battery pack copper bars?
The power batteries of new energy vehicles need to rely on copper bars to connect with each other to form a high-voltage circuit. Copper bars are made of flexible or hard copper bars that can be bent. They are responsible for connecting various battery modules in the battery pack in series and playing a conductive role, with the characteristics of high current and high voltage loads.
How to choose copper busbar for electric vehicle power batteries?
Busbars, also known as busbars, are the main electrical connection solution between batteries and modules. According to the different materials, copper bars and aluminum bars are more common. Busbars are the connecting link between all high-voltage systems and socket connectors.
From the principle and process of continuous extrusion deformation, it can be seen that compared to traditional processes, continuous extrusion has the following advantages:
