Guide everyone on how to handle pipe busbar faults

The use of tubular busbars is still relatively common, but sometimes or unintentionally, tubular busbars will have flashover and creepage conditions. So, what is the reason for this situation? Let's take a look together with the editor below. Flashover condition: Under the action of high voltage, destructive charging and discharging of vapor or liquid substances along the insulation surface of the tubular busbar.

The operating voltage during charging and discharging is called the flashover operating voltage. After flashover occurs, the operating voltage between the electrical levels of the tubular busbar quickly drops to zero or close to zero. The flame or electrical insulation in the flashover channel can cause the insulation surface to overheat and cause carbonization, and the condition of damaging the external insulation is called a flashover condition.

Creepage and Creepage Conditions: When the characteristics of the insulation material decrease, external factors such as temperature will cause the orientation of the tubular busbar to cause electrification of the metal and insulation materials, leading to the formation of water samples crawling along the skin. The basic principle of creepage is that the insulator surface between the two sides of the tubular busbar has slight charging and discharging conditions.

This will cause the surface of the insulator to form dendritic or meridian shaped charging and discharging traces. Generally, this charging and discharging symbol is not connected to both sides. Generally, charging and discharging are not continuous. They only occur under special conditions, and if left for a long time, the insulation layer will be damaged. Creepage is caused by the adhesion of dust and dirt on the surface of the insulation part of the tubular busbar, which reduces the insulation compressive strength of the insulation part and can cause creep when the gas is humid and cold.

Connection Scheme of Busbars for Electric Vehicle Motors

Copper busbar, also known as copper busbar or copper busbar, is a long conductor made of copper material with a rectangular or chamfered (rounded) cross-section (now commonly used with rounded copper busbar to avoid tip discharge), which plays a role in conveying current and connecting electrical equipment in circuits.

What is the function of battery pack copper bars?

The power batteries of new energy vehicles need to rely on copper bars to connect with each other to form a high-voltage circuit. Copper bars are made of flexible or hard copper bars that can be bent. They are responsible for connecting various battery modules in the battery pack in series and playing a conductive role, with the characteristics of high current and high voltage loads.

How to choose copper busbar for electric vehicle power batteries?

Busbars, also known as busbars, are the main electrical connection solution between batteries and modules. According to the different materials, copper bars and aluminum bars are more common. Busbars are the connecting link between all high-voltage systems and socket connectors.

From the principle and process of continuous extrusion deformation, it can be seen that compared to traditional processes, continuous extrusion has the following advantages:

Factors affecting the quality of copper busbar

The surface quality of copper busbar can be divided into three main aspects: surface smoothness, surface flatness, and surface defects, which are closely related to copper properties, production processes, production management, and production environment.
